Two days per week, 9am to 5.30pm.
Bridie Hall Ltd is currently looking for a workshop assistant for two days days a week until Christmas.
They will be required to help with the preparation, finishing and packing of products for trade orders along with maintaining a neat and tidy workshop.
The workshop assistant would ideally have good painting experience and an understanding of lacquering and finishing, though not essential. They will be joining a small team and working with a broad range of products, decoupage, soap and plaster casting and Alphabet Brush Pots. The more skills they are willing to pick up and assist with the more work there will be going forward.
The candidate must be conscientious, meticulous, capable of listening to and following instructions carefully. They must possess excellent attention to detail, be capable of prioritising their workload and able to be confidently left alone to carry out their work.
A tidy and methodical approach to work is of upmost importance.
A ‘can-do’ attitude is a must as tasks will be many and varied; prepare to roll your sleeves up!
The studio is based near Kings Cross, Central London.
The role is being advertised as part-time and until the year end but will potentially become a permanent roll if trade orders increase.
