We all like faking it sometimes, but few faux finishes are as fine as these. Painted by artist Ian Harper for Bridie Hall and proudly printed in England, these fabulous faux finish Glass & Brass column lamps and lampshades include faux rose marble, malachite, pitch pine and oak..
The strengthened glass columns are lined with the chosen faux finish then assembled with unfinished brass top and bottom plates. Over time the brass, if left unpolished, will develop a mellow patina making the colour of the column all the richer.
The lamp is fitted with a bayonet light fitting and a brown silk flex.

Completing the look is the faux finish lampshade measuring, top diameter 25cm, height 28cm, base diameter 40cm.
Comes with a shade carrier.

This hexagonal garden folly inspired box makes a lovely decorative object on its own, and also functions beautifully to hold desk necessities, jewellery or other treasures. This complex design is meticulously hand built in the Parvum Opus bindery and fine Bridie Hall papers painted by artist Ian Harper.

Collected as souvenirs from European Grand Tours in the first half of the C19th, intaglios featured profiles of great mythological figures and scenes. This set of five weekend sized guest soaps is no different and is its own complete collection.
Each of the five colours available are gently perfumed with a fresh and inspired fragrance;
Blue - Aqua minerals and sea kelp.
Yellow - Basil and neroli blossom.
Pink - Cardamon and Mimosa.
Green - Eucalyptus.
Lilac - Lavender.
Painstakingly cast in two parts. The white relief is an unscented soap, hardened with a touch of beeswax to give longevity through use to the classical detailing. While the rich body of these soaps is made using Rowse honey, giving it excellent qualities to calmly clean and moisturise.
One box contains 5 x 25gm bars of soap.
